Gorgolon - Thee Gnostics 1994

This space concept tape was released in a Tube with the Gorgolon collage wrapped around it. This, the third Gnostics tape, was compiled of a number of Gnostic jams recorded primarily on a Sony Walkman. Dan Zen edited and compiled the songs in one night along with recording Dawn of Origin 5 (Dualing Moogs), Mescarian Jungala (Retaw), the Gorgolonian Mantra and the song, Gorgolon all on the Tascam Fourtrack. The rest of thee Gnostics over-dubbed bongos on Gorgolon and we re-recorded the Mantra with each of our voices (Dan - oh the Purple Sea, Gaven - will the red chrome saucers soon be seen, James - the Gorgolonians have eyes on their fingers and Tomas - Origin 5).

The jams were Gaven and Tomas on guitar - Gaven on Sitar and singing, Dan on Moog and singing, James on Bass and Andre, Keon, Jay and Jeremy on Drums.

Fifty tubes were made and sold with the Gorgolon Release Party taking place at Amigos in Hess Village, Hamilton. There is video from this show - see Supernova at the Gorgolon Release Party.
